Over my career, I have guided companies through explosive growth and declining revenues, a $325 million dollar Chapter 11 prepackaged restructuring, and new commercial relationships with international e-retailers, content providers, telecommunications companies, and original equipment manufacturers.  I have led multiple mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, debt refinancing and equity restructuring, and new entity creation and governance documentation.  I also have directed nationwide class and collective actions, and handled reductions in workforce, new division and service line launches including gig services, and nationwide expansion.  I have managed legal, contracts, subcontracts and licensing departments with multi-million dollar budgets, and overseen outside counsel. 

I have carried out significant board duties as corporate secretary, and been a member of executive committees, strategy committees, M&A committees, budget committees, compensation committees, IT steering committees, and long term incentive plan committees.  

I also have provided nationwide operational risk mitigation and counseling for several different industries, and have significant experience in wage and hour litigation defense and compliance, commercial and construction contracts and subcontracts, labor and employment, labor relations, and corporate governance.  

Formally, I was a partner at Duane Morris LLP, the owner and managing partner of Rao Tiliakos LLP, and a partner at Seyfarth Shaw LLP.  I started and built my law firm, Rao Tiliakos LLP, into a nationwide employment and corporate practice with three partners, four associates, and loyal clients.  I have spent the majority of my career in the telecommunications, technician field services, logistics, home delivery, e-commerce, retail, hospitality and grocery industries.
